Small plate made of white-glazed Delft earthenware with hand-painted blue decoration. The central area features a stylized floral motif, complemented by symmetrically arranged vegetal ornaments. The rim is slightly undulating, adorned with a rhythmic band of plant elements continuing the central design. The decoration is executed in cobalt blue under a clear tin glaze, typical of Delft production. The white background provides a striking contrast to the vivid blue ornaments, characteristic of 17th- and 18th-century Dutch faience. From the collection of merchant Rott.

Damage: chips on the rim.
