Max Švabinský (1873 - 1962) DRAFT OF A POSTER FOR JOSEF MÁNES EXHIBITION

The poster’s designer, Max Švabinský, was celebrated as an exceptionally talented illustrator and graphic artist. From 1891, he was a member of the Mánes Association of Fine Artists and a co-founder of the Hollar Association of Czech Graphic Artists. His delicate and confident style gave rise to the design for the Mánes anniversary exhibition at the Municipal House in 1920.
