In 1804, Ulrich Danhauser founded the firm Etablissement für alle Gegenstände des Ameublements in Vienna. It was one of the first factories to offer a complete range of interior furnishings—from furniture and upholstery to carpets, bronze accessories, and glassware. This Empire-style gilded and polychromed sculpture of an eagle, painted in dark green and featuring high-quality carving, likely originally served as a curtain holder.
