POSTHABAN GUILT JUG

This post-Haban jug, dated 1826 and made by the Shoemakers’ Guild, is remarkable both for its rich ornamentation and the chosen palette of colored glazes. The jug comes from the significant First Republic collection of painter Odlřich Blažíček, as evidenced by the identification number of this important Prague collection marked on the bottom.
