POSTHABAN JUG

This richly painted post-Haban jug, bearing the inscription "Filip Bednar" and dated 1804, features a figural scene and a view of a house framed by foliage. The jug comes from the notable Prague collection of the painter Oldřich Blažíček. The top of the neck has been cut off in the past; there are minor scuffs.
