Looted saber of originally French origin, carrying elements of the Klingenthal armory. The blade bears the original etched and gilded elements with motifs of volutes, elements of artillery and the initials of Napoleon II. (1811 - 1832). After 1830, the officer's sabers adapted to the regulations with their ornamentation, which changed over the course of the saber. During the Second French Republic, fleur de lys ornaments were removed from the hilt or replaced by acanthus leaves, but part of this decoration was left here. On the contrary, the pommel carries the later initial of Nicholas II. (1868 - 1917). Fish or shark leather handle with French-style wire grip, nickel-plated sheath with two-point suspension.
