An oval figural relief depicting the Madonna holding the Christ Child in her arms. Kubíček was a Czech sculptor and woodcarver who studied under Josef Drahoňovský and Ladislav Šaloun at the School of Applied Arts in Prague; figural, social and religious themes featured prominently in his work.
