RUSSIAN MODEL 1881 DRAGOON SHASHKA

A Russian Model 1881 dragoon shashka with a slightly curved blade, brass hilt with a knuckle guard, and a wooden grip carved with diagonal grooves. The wooden scabbard is covered in black leather and fitted with brass mounts and suspension rings. The blade is stamped “1916 г.” and bears inspection or maker’s marks, with additional markings on the guard. Russian Empire.
