Václav Hejna (1914 - 1985) A FIGHT FOR PEACE

Václav Hejna belonged to a group of young, talented authors called Seven in October, whose name was based on the number of founding members, which were Josef Liesler, Zdenek Seydl, Arnošt Paderlík, Jan Rafael Michálek, Jan Lukas, Václav Plátek and Václav Hejna and the month of their first exhibition in public. In his expressive speech, Václav Hejna successfully captured the inner states and movements of the human mind, and over time he turned to a completely non-figurative work.
