A terrestrial table globe mounted on a turned wooden column stand with a circular base and a metal meridian half-ring. Printed colour cartography showing political and geographical divisions, supplemented with information focusing particularly on the national economy and transportation. Bearing a printed label: “GLOBUS s obzvláštním zřetelem k národohospodářství a dopravě, zpracovali C. Luther a dr. J. Riedel” [Globe with Particular Emphasis on the National Economy and Transportation, compiled by C. Luther and Dr J. Riedel], scale 1:38,500,000. The wooden base is fitted with a small compass. Excellent condition.
