“Daffodils” is part of an album published by Rong Baozhai as part of the 1953 flower series. Several similar albums inspired by the master’s ink paintings were published. Qi Baishi was a Chinese painter, calligrapher, woodcarver, and poet who had a significant influence on the development of 20th-century Chinese painting.
