Jan Bočan (1937 - 2010) DESIGN SIDE TABLE

The design folding table with rounded shapes was designed by Jan Bočan for the iconic building of the Czechoslovak Embassy in Stockholm, in which, in addition to Jan Bočan, architects Zdeněk Rothbauer and Jan Šrámek and many other leading Czech artists collaborated on the detailed interior decoration (Libenský, Brychtová, Demartini, Cígler, Kolíbal). Currently, the building, which has been listed as a Swedish cultural monument, is not used by Czech diplomacy, as it was purchased in the late 1990s by a private owner. Original preserved condition.
