A hand-knotted carpet with a central medallion and geometricised foliate decoration. The field, in shades of blue and red, is filled with stylised tree and small floral motifs and framed by several ornamental borders. Wool, with areas of wear and losses consistent with age and use. Hamadan region (northwestern Iran), Malayer/Borchalu group.
