A Buddhist thangka depicting the bhavachakra (Wheel of Life), a symbolic representation of the cycle of samsara, with the various realms of existence and the twelve links of dependent origination. The wheel is held in the grasp of Yama, the Lord of Death Areas of colour loss and a tear to the fabric in the upper part of the thangka.
