Milan Janáček draws primarily from nature in graphics as well as in painting. He found in it the basic solution to the problems of artistic composition. For him, the earth and sky is a scene of miracles and mysteries. Milan Janáček is not one of those artists whose opinion affiliation can be expressed briefly. As a landscape painter, he is imaginative, but sometimes also characteristically expressive. Yet there is an inner thread that connects all the works. It is the pursuit of color polyphony, the harmony of the visual elements of the image and a felt relationship to the native land.
