A rare, richly carved Flemish cabinet with three massive columns with a Corinthian head with carved cherubs. Figural and floral carving is combined with elements of ebony, which was brought by ships from exotic lands. Inside the cabinet, there is an opening punched cabinet door made of blackened wood. The cabinet often referred to as "toogkats", was a popular Dutch piece of furniture inspired by Roman architecture in the early 17th century, found in Flemish paintings such as Pieter de Hooch.
