A delicate and elaborate underpainting on the glass depicts Anne and Mary with Jesus in an orchard overflowing with fruit and vines. Anne holds Mary with Jesus in his arms and serves the fruit to Jesus, who is reaching out for him. The small format work stands out with beautifully shaded folds of the dress and precisely executed halos with thread-thin rays.
