A hand-knotted carpet with two prominent geometric medallions arranged along a dark blue central axis, complemented by hooked and small geometric motifs. The red field is framed by several borders, the main border decorated with multicoloured star-shaped motifs. Wool, with areas of wear to the pile and edges consistent with age and use. Southwestern Caucasus, Kazak region.
