Raimund Richter von Wichera (1862 - 1925) LADY WITH A HOUND

Baron Raimund Richter von Wichera (1862 Frankstadt - 1925 Vienna) was a pupil of Hans Makart at the Vienna Academy. From 1901 he was also a member of the "Wiener Kuenstlerhaus". In addition to oil paintings, he created illustrations for various publications and magazines. In the spirit of the 19th century tradition, he created stylized and delicate portraits with smooth spread surfaces that imitate fine fabrics, silky hair and perfect skin.
