Otakar Nejedlý (1883 - 1957) FISHERMEN

Otakar Nejedlý’s memoir of a two-year adventure travelling with Jaroslav Hněvkovský (1884–1956) through Ceylon and India was published in by Fr. Borový publishers in Prague in 1916. Nejedlý met the young geodesist and talented painter Hněvkovský over a round of chess at the Caffe Greco in Rome in 1908. Their common passion for travel brought then to Ceylon (Sri Lanka) and India.
