An old area-colored copper engraving map of the European part of Russia. Title in a colored cartouche at the bottom left with figural staff, 2 length scales below it. The fragmented territory of the Moscow Empire, as can be seen from the map, had no access to the Black or Azov Seas around 1700, only to the Caspian Sea, the coastal areas were controlled by the Tatars.
