This violin, bearing the label "Franciscus Geissenhof fecit Viennae Anno 1800", is accompanied by an assessment by violinist Přemysl Špidlen, who attests that all parts of the musical instrument are authentic and original. Famous Viennese violinist Franz Geissenhof (1753-1821) was a successor of Johann Georg Thir, but from 1790 he started to use the Stradivari violin model. His work influenced a generation of 19th century violinists. Body length: 35.5 cm.
